Edel McGinley is the Director of the Migrant Rights Centre Ireland (MRCI). MRCI works to promote justice, empowerment and equality for migrants and their families in Ireland through a community-work approach aiming to secure policy change.
- Didier Vanderslycke (Treasurer)
Didier Vanderslycke coordinates ORBIT vzw. He is a trained social worker and priest of the diocese of Antwerp. Didier Vanderslycke is also Chair of PICUM’s member Organisation for Undocumented Workers (OR.C.A.). ORBIT is a Belgian organisation working to promote diversity and fair migration through publications, actions and campaigns, education and debates.
- Adam Weiss
Adam Weiss is Head of Oceans at the environmental NGO ClientEarth, working with teams fighting overfishing, useless plastic, and chemical pollution. He is an experienced litigator, having worked with NGOs (including the AIRE Centre and the European Roma Rights Centre) to uphold migrants’ rights and the rights of ethnic minorities under the European Convention on Human Rights and EU law. He is also on the board of FLEX (Focus on Labour Exploitation).
- Alphia Abdikeeva
Alphia Abdikeeva is a co-founder of the Spanish NGO Pro Igual. She has over a decade of experience working on human rights projects with organisations like the Minority Rights Group International (MRGI), OSCE-ODIHR, Council of Europe, and has been a long-term consultant for Open Society Foundations.
- András Kováts
András Kováts is the Director of Menedék, the Hungarian Association for Migrants. Menedék promotes the social integration of migrants and refugees in Hungary, organises trainings for professionals who deal with migrants in the course of their work, and leads various educational and cultural projects to build a bridge between migrants and the general public in order to foster tolerance.
- Jan Knockaert
Jan Knockaert is the Director of the Organisation for Undocumented Workers (OR.C.A.) in Belgium. OR.C.A. advocates for the rights of migrant workers with a precarious residence status, and supports them through providing information about their rights, and assisting them in enforcing these rights.
- Magda Faltová
Magda Faltová is the Director of the Association for Integration and Migration (SIMI) in Czechia. SIMI provides free legal, social and psychological counselling to migrants and engages with the general public to promote tolerance and fight xenophobia and racism.
- Nathalie Simonnot
Nathalie Simonnot is Deputy Director in charge of domestic projects, communication and advocacy at Médecins du monde (MdM) – Doctors of the World International Network Head Office. Doctors of the World is an international aid organisation working to improve access to health care and the protection of human rights of people facing vulnerabilities around the world.
- Meri Korniloff
Meri Korniloff coordinates a programme which promotes the health of irregular migrants in Finland. It is a joint programme of Physicians for Social Responsibility Finland and Global Clinic. Previously she has coordinated a legal counseling service for irregular migrants in Finland.
- Moussa Sangaré
Moussa Sangaré is the President of the Ivorian community in Greece and Vice – President at the Greek Forum of Refugees, a network of refugee and migrant communities based in Athens, Greece. He is a passionate advocate for human rights and justice, aiming to raise refugees’ and migrants’ voice at the local, national and international levels.
- Teresa De Gasperis
Teresa De Gasperis is the anti-trafficking Programme Manager at the Spanish NGO
Accem. She is also a focal point for different platforms and networks at national, EU and
international levels, as well as manager of EU-funded projects.

- Franck Düvell
Franck Düvell is an Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at COMPAS, the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society at the University of Oxford. COMPAS is a research centre that conducts research on global migration processes including irregular migration, in order to develop theory and knowledge, inform policy-making and public debate, and engage users of research within the field of migration.
- George Joseph
George Joseph is the Director of the National and Migration Department at Caritas Sweden. Caritas Sweden defends the human rights of migrants and refugees and acts for a humane refugee policy. It also provides practical support and assistance to irregular migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and victims of trafficking in human beings.
