PICUM Comments on the Global Approach to Migration and Mobility

Based on the expertise of its network, PICUM has put forward comments in relation to the second pillar of the EU Global Approach to Migration and Mobility: preventing and reducing irregular migration and trafficking in human beings and other issues concerning labour migration and the rights of migrants.

Specifically, PICUM shares its comments on three key elements of the EU Global Approach to Migration and Mobility:

  1. 'Migrant centred approach’ and the human rights of migrants
  2. Preventing and reducing irregular migration and trafficking in human beings
  3. Circular migration and portability of social and pension rights
