UNDOCUMENTARY blog launched
PICUM has been working on “UNDOCUMENTARY”, a web documentary which outlines the daily realities faced by undocumented migrants living in Europe.
In order to develop this web documentary, PICUM travelled to six European cities: Almeria (Spain), Nicosia (Cyprus), Milan (Italy), Paris (France), Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Brussels (Belgium) and Gothenburg (Sweden) to collect the stories told by irregular migrants, migrants’ rights defenders, professionals and public authorities.
UNDOCUMENTARY focuses on PICUM’s key four thematic areas of work: Access to Health Care, Fair Working Conditions, Access to Justice for Undocumented Women and Access to Education and Housing for Undocumented Children and Their Families.
Whilst waiting for the upcoming official presentation of the web documentary on 21 November 2011 Warsaw, Poland, at the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) conference "Dignity and Rights for Irregular Migrants", PICUM offers you a first taste by launching the blog of UNDOCUMENTARY which is already up and running.
