Fighting discrimination-based violence against undocumented children - Partners of the Project

  • Red Barnet (the Danish name of save the children Denmark) is a member of the International Save the Children Alliance. 'Red Barnet' aims to improve children's rights in Denmark and internationally. 'Red Barnet' has produced studies on separated and undocumented children in Europe and their particular fields of knowledge include health, education, child labour and children affected by war.
     
  • Defence for Children International, the Netherlands (DCI) is an international children's rights organisation that was established in 1979. The work of Defence for Children International is based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Defence for Children International supports immigrant and refugee children by: giving information about the rights of the child to the children, their care givers, parents, teachers, doctors etc; investigating and denouncing violations of children's rights; taking action against violations of children's rights.
     
  • Association Jeunes Errants was created in 1994 and works directly with undocumented and unaccompanied minors. The Association Jeunes Errants provides psychological and educational support and accompaniment to street children in Marseille (the majority of which are unaccompanied minor migrants).
     
  • The federation Andalucia Acoge was established in 1991 by the founding members Sevilla Acoge, Almería Acoge, Granada Acoge, and Málaga Acoge. The aim was to join forces in order to give a more efficient and global answer to the recent immigration phenomenon. Among the different areas of activities Andalucía Acoge also offers welcome facilities for unaccompanied immigrant minors.
