PICUM Membership Structure
PICUM has a two-tier membership structure with Ordinary Members (individuals) and Affiliated Members (organisations). Ordinary Members have full voting rights whereas Affiliated Members’ voting rights are limited to the long-range plan. When your organisation becomes an Affiliated Member of PICUM, you may wish to consider applying for Ordinary Membership for a representative of your organisation, as well. The Ordinary Membership fee is waived for one representative of each of our Affiliated Members.
Benefits of Membership
- Become part of an international network working for the rights of undocumented migrants
- Participate in the annual General Assembly and accompanying thematic workshops, where you can meet and share experiences with others working in the field
- Contribute comments and suggestions to draft policy statements and position papers prepared by the Secretariat
- Draw on the knowledge and experience of PICUM's growing network
- Participate in the management and long-term planning of PICUM
- Receive discounts on PICUM conferences and publications
How to Become a Member
Please complete our online membership application form for individuals or organisations.
Application Procedure
According to PICUM's rules and regulations, the General Assembly must decide on the admission of new members. Therefore, all applications for membership are first shown to the Executive Committee (Excom) so that they can provide a recommendation to the General Assembly. New membership applications will be brought before the General Assembly at the upcoming annual meeting.
Organisations and individuals applying for membership are welcome to become active in PICUM immediately and can enjoy a 20% discount on PICUM publications from the date of application.
